MANNATT GUPTA is a contemporary label born out of the desire to dress our eternal muse: inspiring women around the globe who symbolize strength and simplicity.
This exacting ethos extends to everything we do at our studio.
From the earnestness with which we select our lush, featherlight fabrics to the minimal silhouettes that are finished with discerning details, each piece at MANNATT GUPTAÂ is made with the intent to become your second skin and let your personality shine.
A departure from stuffy tailoring, the touch and feel of our materials shape-shift as the wearer moves. Our design philosophy is, thus, a culmination of an aesthetic that is lucid yet luminous; timely yet time-tested; and leisurely yet long-lasting.
A common thread of versatility and functionality ties all our collections together. A careful marriage between opulence and ease, all our creations can be translated and worn for myriad seasons, destinations, and moods.
However, more than anything, we want to be a part of a universe that supports, uplifts and celebrates all kinds of tenacious women; a world where style and substance go hand-in-hand.

Growing up in the place of mountains and myths, Uttarakhand, Mannatt Gupta always had a keen eye for art and design. A fashion design graduate from one of the prestigious Parsons School of Design, her time in New York exposed her to a diverse set of cultures, communities and ideas. It was in this metropolis that her flair for creative thinking and fashion grew leaps and bounds.
This fueled her further to launch her first collection, a compendium of easy separates, timeless cuts and sophisticated materials, for her label. More than anything, Mannatt’s design philosophy has always focused in serving as an armour for modern-day women who epitomize strength and independence.

2020
Following her education at the esteemed Parsons School of Design in New York, Mannatt pursued an exploration of natural dyeing techniques, utilizing everyday materials such as flowers, spices, and vegetables to produce dyes.
This journey soon culminated in the launch of her eponymous brand and the Bloom collection.
2021
Drawing inspiration from art and her personal experiences, she soon unveiled her second collection, Beyond, which was influenced by the works of Mark Rothko. Her innovative approach to pleats and draping quickly gained the attention of international retailers and editorial platforms, significantly expanding the reach of her brand.
2022
Following in her footsteps and drawing inspiration from her life experiences and lessons, she was moved by the way people navigated attachment and detachment during the COVID era. This insight gave rise to her collection, Merak—a versatile line featuring pieces that are detachable and can be worn in multiple ways. With this collection, the brand gained recognition, showcasing at the Virtual Showroom at FDCI's Lakme Fashion Week and securing a presence in stores in New York.
2023
At MANNATT GUPTA, we believe evolution is essential, which led us to create a collection inspired by the concept of metamorphosis: Morph. This collection explores the stages of creation, deconstruction, and transformation into a higher form. Driven by our passion for experimenting with fabrics and textures, we developed a unique pattern using a surface cording technique. Our goal was to design pieces that not only feature a striking 3D effect but also add structure and depth.
2024
The dynamic movement and ever-changing patterns of a kaleidoscope, coupled with the distinctive sounds of its beads, have always been fascinating. Drawing inspiration from these elements, we developed the Euphonic collection. This line focuses on manipulating fabric to create 3D silhouettes, aiming to achieve a profound visual impact.
