THE LIGHTNESS OF BEING
MANNATT GUPTA is a contemporary label born out of the desire to dress our eternal muse: inspiring women around the globe who symbolize strength and simplicity.
This exacting ethos extends to everything we do at our studio.
From the earnestness with which we select our lush, featherlight fabrics to the minimal silhouettes that are finished with discerning details, each piece at MANNATT GUPTA is made with the intent to become your second skin and let your personality shine.
A departure from stuffy tailoring, the touch and feel of our materials shape-shift as the wearer moves. Our design philosophy is, thus, a culmination of an aesthetic that is lucid yet luminous; timely yet time-tested; and leisurely yet long-lasting.
A common thread of versatility and functionality ties all our collections together. A careful marriage between opulence and ease, all our creations can be translated and worn for myriad seasons, destinations, and moods.
However, more than anything, we want to be a part of a universe that supports, uplifts and celebrates all kinds of tenacious women; a world where style and substance go hand-in-hand.
At MANNATT GUPTA, we’re on a journey—pertinent, disarming and omnipresent in each one of our endeavors—that illuminates us time after time.

Growing up in the place of mountains and myths, Uttarakhand, Mannatt Gupta always had a keen eye for art and design. A fashion design graduate from one of the prestigious Parsons School of Design, her time in New York exposed her to a diverse set of cultures, communities and ideas. It was in this metropolis that her flair for creative thinking and fashion grew leaps and bounds.
This fueled her further to launch her first collection, a compendium of easy separates, timeless cuts and sophisticated materials, for her label. More than anything, Mannatt’s design philosophy has always focused in serving as an armour for modern-day women who epitomize strength and independence.
Her creations, thus, often give precedence to comfort and fit

2020
Following her education at Parsons School of Design in New York, Mannat Gupta immersed herself in the study of natural and ice dyeing techniques, transforming flowers, spices, botanicals, and everyday organic materials into richly nuanced pigments.
This exploration of artisanal craft and the beauty of nature became the foundation of her eponymous label, culminating in the debut of the Bloom collection—a poetic expression of colour, craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury.

2021
Inspired by the intersection of art and personal narrative, Mannat Gupta unveiled her second collection, Beyond—a study in emotion, form, and colour, informed by the evocative works of Mark Rothko. Through an innovative exploration of sculptural draping and refined pleating across contrasting materials—from structured leather to fluid georgette—the collection redefined the dialogue between strength and softness.
Beyond marked a pivotal moment for the brand, earning recognition from international retailers and leading editorial platforms, and establishing MANNATT GUPTA as a distinctive voice in contemporary luxury fashion.

2022
Guided by her evolving perspective and the experiences that have shaped her journey, Mannat Gupta reflected on the profound shifts in human connection during the pandemic—how we learned to embrace both attachment and letting go. This contemplation became the foundation of Merak, a collection centred on versatility, transformation, and enduring design.
Featuring modular, detachable silhouettes that can be styled in multiple ways, Merak reimagined contemporary luxury through adaptability without compromising craftsmanship. The collection marked a defining chapter for the brand, earning a showcase at the FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week Virtual Showroom and expanding MANNATT GUPTA's international presence with its debut in select New York retailers.

2023
At MANNATT GUPTA, evolution is at the heart of our creative philosophy. This vision gave rise to Morph—a collection inspired by the transformative journey of metamorphosis, exploring the continual process of creation, deconstruction, and renewal.
Driven by an enduring fascination with material innovation, the collection experiments with texture, structure, and form through the development of a distinctive surface cording technique. Sculptural yet fluid, each piece is designed to create a striking three-dimensional effect, introducing depth, movement, and architectural precision while embodying the quiet power of transformation.

2024
Inspired by the ever-shifting geometry of a kaleidoscope and the rhythmic harmony created by its moving fragments, Euphonic explores the relationship between movement, structure, and perception. The collection captures the beauty of constant transformation, where every angle reveals a new composition of form and light.
Through an innovative interplay of sculptural construction and fluid draping, Euphonic reimagines fabric as an architectural medium. Soft and structured textiles are meticulously manipulated into three-dimensional silhouettes, creating pieces that balance precision with fluidity and evoke a striking sense of depth, movement, and modern elegance.

2025
This season, our vision was to once again push the boundaries of craft by introducing a new material and technique into our collection. We chose raffia—not only for its raw, organic character, but for the creative possibilities it offers when reimagined through a couture lens. Rather than limiting ourselves to traditional hand-weaving, we explored innovative applications of raffia to bring depth, texture, and movement to our pieces.
One of the most intricate expressions of this vision is a floor-length cape that took our atelier over 150 days to complete. Each strand of raffia was meticulously hand-cut into precise two-inch segments and individually stitched onto a two-meter base fabric, forming a bold geometric pattern in a curated palette of white and burnt orange. The result is a sculptural, textural masterpiece—an ode to slow fashion and uncompromising craftsmanship.

2026
For The In Between, we sought to expand our creative language by introducing new artisanal techniques while remaining rooted in the signature draping and hand pleating that define the house. Fluid silhouettes coexist with sculptural forms, creating a collection that moves effortlessly between softness and structure.
This season also marks the introduction of thoughtfully crafted accessories—including veils and gloves—designed as an extension of each silhouette rather than an afterthought. Alongside our established craftsmanship, we explored intricate techniques such as hand felting,Grès-inspired pleating, and the creation of bespoke textiles composed entirelyof meticulously hand-embroidered zari work. We also revisited one of our signature techniques first developed in 2023: fabric cording, where every individual cord is handcrafted and hand-stitched, reimagined across two key pieces within the collection.
Each technique reflects our continued pursuit of innovation through craftsmanship—honouring traditional artistry while pushing the boundaries of contemporary luxury.
